Vulcan, the patron of Birmingham,AL.  and Master of the Forge, I have no doubt in my mind, that he is the European analogue to Ogun, the Yoruba God of Iron! As we leave Birmingham we intend to visit Tuskegee where my beloved paternal grandfather, John studied blacksmithing; he graduated from Tuskegee Institute‘s Class of 1912.
