On 12/12/24 my beloved, Dr. Levi B. Zangai and I participated in Career Day at the Greenbelt Middle School (GMS) in Gorgeous Prince George’s County in the great state of Maryland. We hoped to plant seeds in the hearts and minds of our young people about careers in international affairs. We encountered 6th, 7th and 8th graders who are studying Arabic, Italian, Chinese (Mandarin), French, Koren, Yoruba and Spanish. Our young people are also traveling the world. Shout out to Noelle Ojo who provided swag from the U.S. Agency for International Development. The future, despite current appearances, is bright.
