Dr. G Returns to Ibadan’s Dominican University

Dr. G also returned to the Dominican University to meet her friends Sister Ugobi and Father Chiadi. They thanked Dr. G by presenting her with the special fabric and several 2024 commemorative calendars in honor of the 50^th anniversary of the Chapel designed and constructed by Artist and Architect Demas Nwoko. Dr. G provided a modest donation in support of the anniversary 50^th anniversary celebration. Sister Ugobi and Father Chiadi are in the process of launching a search for a versatile scholar-practitioner to lead the establishment of the Demas Nwoko Chair of Applied Aesthetics in the

Department of Philosophy. The Chair will lead DU’s  focus on African culture and heritage as well as sustainable, environmentally friendly design.
